A. J. DiMarino, PC — Bio
Mr. DiMarino, a registered patent attorney, focuses his practice on disputes involving patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret issues. When these disputes cannot be resolved, he handles the lawsuits that result. He also handles commercial matters and acts as general counsel to several corporations.
In the 17 years he has been an attorney, Mr. DiMarino has gained experience in a variety of settings, including several years at the largest law firm in New Jersey. He then spent several more years with a boutique in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania which had a national intellectual property litigation practice. He founded A.J. DiMarino, P.C. in 2006.

Matthew Skolnik joined the firm as Of Counsel in 2011. His practice focuses on intellectual property litigation and counseling, along with complex commercial litigation.
Prior to joining A.J. DiMarino, P.C., Mr. Skolnik was a litigation associate with the law firm of Pepper Hamilton and with a small firm in Philadelphia, PA. Mr. Skolnik has extensive litigation and alternative dispute resolution experience in practice areas that include business/commercial litigation; copyright, trademark, and trade secrets law; and employment law.
In 2010, Mr. Skolnik was named to "Pennsylvania Rising Stars" by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Magazine. Super Lawyers recognizes the top up-and-coming attorneys in Pennsylvania and no more than 2.5 percent of such attorneys are named to the "Rising Stars" list annually.
Mr. Skolnik earned his J.D. at Emory University School of Law in 2002, where he was the Executive Managing Editor of Emory International Law Review. His Comment, “The Forum Non Conveniens Doctrine in Alien Tort Claims Act Cases: A Shell of its Former Self after Wiwa?” was published in 2002 and has been cited in approximately two dozen law reviews, practice guides and treatises since.
Having worked as a human resources management consultant with the Corporate Executive Board (Corporate Leadership Council) in Washington, D.C. before law school, Mr. Skolnik brings a unique perspective to counseling business clients before and after litigation commences.
